LaVere “Whip” Whipple, 85, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. A Celebration of Life was held 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.
A lifelong Iowan, Whip was born on October 23, 1940, in a farmhouse near Hampton to Lyle and Angie Whipple.
